Miss Arkansas Pageant Announces Changes in Leadership


The Miss Arkansas Pageant has announced a change in leadership, naming Lacy Glover as the new Executive Director. Effective July 18, 2023, the Miss Arkansas Board of Directors accepted a leave of absence from previous Director Jessie Bennett, appointing Glover to the open position. Glover has previously served as Vice President of the Board of Directors for two terms and a member of the Board for 10 years. She is also a former Miss Arkansas in 2004. Additionally, the Board accepted the resignation of Robin Houseworth who served as Director of Field Operations and appointed Renee Fronabarger to serve in this role. Fronabarger has previously led as chairperson of the wardrobe committee, head chaperone, local preliminary director, field director and a member of the Board of Directors for 15 years. Both Houseworth and Bennett leave their positions after 15 years of valued service.


The Miss Arkansas Pageant has a committed legacy to the empowerment of women through service and education. Providing over $225,000 in scholarships in 2023, the Miss Arkansas Pageant continues to advance the opportunities of young women throughout the state to reach their educational goals and professional endeavors.
