About the Competition
Contestants in the Miss Arkansas Organization at the state and local level gain experience through participation in interviews, talent performances, public speaking, promoting community service initiatives, and social media interaction. Cash and in-kind educational scholarships are available to all young women who advance to the state competition. To become a Miss Arkansas' Teen contestant, you must enter and win a local competition or apply at the end of competition season to be an At-Large contestant.
Phases of Competition
The Miss Arkansas' Teen Competition is composed of five main phases:

Personal Interview with the Judges

Health and Fitness

On Stage Conversation

Evening Gown
-
Talent
Each contestant must have a Community Service Initiative that they will advocate for during their year of service.
Age & Residency Reqs
AGE
2024 Teen contestants must be born between 2006 and 2010.

Contestants that are eighteen years of age may elect to participate in either Miss or Teen competitions.
RESIDENCY
Must fulfill ONE of the following:

Must reside in the state of the competition

Be successfully enrolled in and physically attending classes on a full-time basis at an accredited public or private school, or home schooled within the state of competition.

CITIZENSHIP

Must be a citizen of the United States of America

Meet character criteria set forth by the Miss America Organization.

Be able to meet the time commitment and responsibilities as set forth by the local competition and Miss Arkansas.
