education. There is a great sense of pride when you
know you are enabling the young women of today the
opportunity to be the leaders in our world tomorrow.
Many will go on to be doctors, nurses, teachers,
journalists . . . because of the scholarships they
are awarded through the Miss Arkansas Scholarship
Organization.
With that in mind, it is our desire to offer
business and professional people and all other
interested individuals the opportunity to become a
part of impacting young women of today as we provide
scholarships for continuing education through the
Miss Arkansas Scholarship Organization, a partner
with the Miss America Scholarship Organization. Each
year more than $40 million in cash and tuition
scholarship assistance is made available to young
women across the nation who compete in the system,
making it one of the nation's leading achievement
programs as well as the world's largest provider of
scholarship assistance for young women. This
assistance is not just for the handful of young
women who become Miss Arkansas or Miss America, but
is available to the over 12,000 young women who
compete on the local, state, and national levels.
Rich in history and social significance, the Miss
Arkansas Scholarship Organization is a
not-for-profit organization that has maintained a
tradition for many decades of empowering young women
to achieve their personal and professional goals,
while providing a forum in which to express their
opinions, talent, and intelligence. We invite you to
