Diamond State Princess Program

Welcome!

The Diamond State Princess (DSP) Program is for young ladies ages 5 through 12 at the time of the state teen pageants (June 30-July 3).  The purpose of this program is to mentor those young ladies who have an interest in competing someday in the Miss Arkansas’ Outstanding Teen Pageant.  The current teen local title holders will serve as mentors to the Diamond State Princesses!

The pageant this summer will feature the Princesses as part of a production number for Thursday & Friday preliminaries “Hoedown Throwdown” by Miley Cyrus and Saturday Finals “Someday, I’ll be a Miss America” with Savvy Shields, Miss Arkansas’ Outstanding Teen 2009.  DSP's will also participate in the evening wear production with their Teen Queen/mentor. Young ladies desiring to be a DSP without a teen representative are invited to participate and will be assigned to a contestant.

Thomas Collins is the Executive Director of the Miss Arkansas' Outstanding Teen Pageant.   Sharon Wilson is the Diamond State Princess Program Director.   Patty Tackett of Dance City Studio is the DSP Choreographer.
